Choice of Cashback or DePoints
Q1: How does it work?
The more you spend on your DeCard Luminaries, the more rewards you earn. With effect from 6 February 2026, enjoy the flexibility to switch between Cashback or DePoints and earn up to US$200 Cashback or up to 66,000 DePoints every month. Be among the top spenders every quarter to unlock a special mystery gift! Cashback or DePoints are calculated monthly based on your total spending, according to the following tiers:

*For SGD denominated cards, the cash credit will be credited in Singapore dollars. The final amount credited may differ depending on the applicable exchange rates determined by DCS applied at the time of posting.
Q2: How long will the DePoints be valid for?
DePoints will be valid for 2 years from the date they are credited.
Q3: What can I do with DePoints?

Q4: How do I indicate my choice of reward?
You may select your choice of reward (Cashback or DePoints) in-app before the 1st of every month (based on Singapore Time).
For new cardmembers, the default reward will be Cashback.
If no selection is made, the selection will follow the previous month's.
Any change done on/after the 1st of the month (based on Singapore time) would take effect only on the following month.
Example 1:
Card is opened on 26 January - Default reward for January would be CashBack.
Cardmember opts to change Reward to DePoints on 27 January - January's Reward will be Cashback (no change). Reward will be switched to DePoints in February, and would continue to be rewarded in DePoints until cardmember opts to change.
Cardmember will receive Cashback for January's transactions by 10 February.
Cardmember will receive DePoints for February's transactions by 10 March.
Example 2:
Card is opened on 26 January - Default reward for January would be CashBack.
Cardmember opts to change Reward to DePoints on 1 February - February's Reward will still be Cashback (as the selection was not done before the 1st of the month). Reward will be switched to DePoints in March.
Cardmember will receive Cashback for January's transactions by 10 February.
Cardmember will receive Cashback for February's transactions by 10 March.
Cardmember will receive DePoints for March's transactions by 10 April.
Q5: When will I get my Cashback / DePoints?
Eligible transactions are calculated on a calendar-month basis — from the 1st day to the last day of each month. Cashback or DePoints are calculated at the end of each month and will be credited to your account by the 10th day of the following month.
Q6: What happens if my purchase is reversed or refunded?
If your purchase is reversed or refunded, DeCard will determine whether to claw back Cashback or DePoints based on the Reward selection on the date of reversal or refund.
Example:
Reward chosen for January is Cashback.
Cardmember opts to change Reward to DePoints on 26 January. Reward will be switched to DePoints in February.
There was a refund transaction posted in February for a transaction done in January. As the Reward in February is DePoints, DePoints will be clawed back.
Q7: Which transactions are eligible for DePoints and cashback?
Scan-and-Pay transactions are not eligible to earn DePoints and cashback. Eligibility of transactions is determined based on the Card Terms & Conditions. Please refer to the latest Terms & Conditions for full details.
Q8: How long will this program last?
The program details will be reviewed and updated quarterly. DCS reserves the right to make changes at its sole discretion.
